Made from 12mm wide, top quality, nylon climbing rope with reinforced stitching, The Original Charlie is fully adjustable and easy to slip on and off. Its soft texture means it's comfortable for your best mate, but also easy-going on your hands.
With cracker leather features (yes, real leather!) in a range of classic colours, this is a lead that’s bound to turn heads at the dog park!

“BUT GUYS, WHY IS IT CALLED THE ORIGINAL CHARLIE?"
When he was growing up, our beautiful Lab-retriever, Charlie, was a bit of a puller. His bounding energy was cute to start with, but it soon drove us nuts. He just about tugged our arms out of their sockets and it wasn’t much fun taking him for a walk.
We tried all different types of leads but none of them lasted very long. They either fell apart or Charlie chewed through them. Eventually we said “enough’s enough” (actually, we probably used some other words!). We knew we had to sniff out the best quality materials we could find and design a special lead just for Charlie. So that’s exactly what we did. And would you believe it … *Lab-racadabra!* … the new lead worked a treat (along with a bit of training of course) and that’s how The Original Charlie was born!
I have a very nervous and reactive Dog. This lead has been an excellent one for training. Spend some time teaching them what you expect before you take them out on it and they thrive.
Arrived without issue and such an amazing quality item.
Great lead, still trying to get my dog to walk where i want her to by my side. The lead does help but isn't a silver bullet without educating the dog as well.
