Here’s how to get your bigger breed back under your control!
New and improved! We got rid of the PVC plastic accents and metal joins so our slimline slip leads are now just as spiffy and strong as our original slip leads!
Believe it or not, larger breeds and stronger pooches need a slimmer slip lead to stop them from pulling. Why? Because a thinner lead allows a stronger correction to be made when your mischievous mate decides he wants to be the boss!
At 8mm wide, The Slimline Charlie is a narrow yet durable, anti-pull rope slip lead with lovely brown leather accents and stitched joins for strength. Like all of our leashes, it’s made from top quality, nylon climbing rope with reinforced joints. It’s fully adjustable, easy to slip on and off, and comfortable for you and your best mate.
And if you’re after a colour that won’t show the dirt and looks paw-fect with light or dark fur, then you can’t go past classic black. Try matching it with The Cola collar for the complete set-up!

My mal, Simba, was a big puller on every walk we went on a couple months ago. After getting this slip lead, our walks have dramatically become more enjoyable and controlled than before. The material is great and high quality. When I received my first leash, the stopper became loose after 4-5months of use. I contacted support and they were able to send us a new lead within a week or so as the previous one was actually faulty under the warranty. Highly recommend True Charlie Co. for their slip leads and amazing customer service :)
My beautiful senior pup has lumps and bumps on his neck so his new lead is much kinder than his normal chain.
Within moments, my struggles with training became non existent and I was able to take leaps and bounds in our progress in becoming polite while walking
This lead is quite hard to hold and fabric much stiffer than my other True Charlie. It is thinner so expected to be a little harder to hold but the thicker is much softer. Works as well but finding it a bit difficult for us.
