At 8mm wide, The Slimline Charlie is a narrow, yet durable anti-pull rope slip lead with lovely brown leather accents and stitched joins for strength. I bought the leash off of another review saying it was soft on the hands and supple, unfortunately it is neither of those things and is unpleasant to use for me. It may soften with use but I probably won’t use it enough to see now. Colour is nice though and well made otherwise, just awful to use.

Strong and quality lead but by the second or third use the leather stopper has become loose and slides easily often making the loop around my dogs neck enormous meaning I lose a level of control over him
I nearly sent it back but glad I didn't and persisted with it. My somewhat leash reactive GSD x Great Dane learnt to get out of her chain martingale and completely ignored her other brand collar which didn't stop her from lunging. Initially, she absolutely hated the slip leash but once she realized it means walk, she puts up with it. It gives me much greater control and I no longer worry about her reaction to dogs, she follows where I lead. A couple of things for the wishlist - the rope is pretty thick. I think it would be more effective if it was thinner. The stopper doesn't really stay in place. The leash needs to be adjust all the time, it tends to slip down her neck. And once it tightens, it stays too tight so I need to manually loosen it. All things I can live with for the benefit of a much calmer and obedient dog so we can enjoy our walks.
